Have just bought the complete Angel tv-show, as a birthday gift for myself. Thought that this picture, that i took in December fit it. And yes Angel do have a silly hair.
BEAUTIFUL PICTURE! What camera do you use????? Oh, and hi - just stumbled on your journal..... I'm a Dane too, and I added you to my friends list, because I think your journal seems interesting.
Angel has silly hair...mmm, maybe a bit too short, I liked Spike's better, ahhahaa. But Angel's still cute.
Hi you welcome to friend me, but I don't update much and it's mostly some picture spam like this, and some fanish stuff, so I am not really sure how interesting it's. But thanks for your nice words.
To answer some of yours questions. Right now I uses an a900 Sony and some old lenses. I started with photographing, in 2008 when I bought an a200 Sony, after I got a kick out of borrowing my brothers 350D Canon. The a900 is rather expensive 18.000, and I do think that for most amateurs, myself included, an entry level dslr can give adequate picture quality. But I think the a900 more as luxury that I could afford, like those weekend cyclist who buy a bike for ten time the normal price for bike.
I nearly always use the raw format, and thereafter I run them through Lightroom 3.0, where I do some light editing biased towards medium contrast and some deep shadows.
To be honest, I think at myself as an adequate amateur, but I studies others pictures, and try see some crafts who works, and then learn from them. And equal important is it, to see what doesn't work, and become aware it my own pictures.
Wow.... that's some serious gear, hahaha. 18.000, man.... phew. Heheheh. And you're right about experimenting to see what looks good and what doesn't. I myself am a rather poor amateur photographer, but I have fun with it. That's the most important thing to me. :-)
As they say, the difference between men and boys, are the price of their toys ;) Not that I are wealthy in anyway. But I justified it, over for myself, the amount of money, with that I am planning to use it, for at least five years.
