My neighbours have a very active and loud sex life.

I think I am going take a walk in the snowstorm.

When I was in my second year at university, I lived in a very old building with thin walls. My upstairs neighbour got his first girlfriend, and oh, dear oh dear. I took to working in the libraries at night or staying out at night and catching up on my sleeping the next morning. So I understand your pain!

My flat is also in rather old building (1918) and also with thin walls. But it was a nice walk, in the first really snowstorm this winter.
