I went for a walk outside to feel the see and feel the power of the Orkan that have hit Denmark (def. Wind over 32 m/s, English word?). The fjord water was at the highest level I can remember seeing, a combination of high tide and the wind pressing the sea into the fjord. When I came home, I heard that police had recommend that people stays at home, and two persons had been killed of a metal plate from roof of garden house, went they also was out and walking. It can be dangerous to be a nature romantic, still it was nice :).

Wind over 32 m/s, English word?

I'm not sure that there is one that specific in English. Colloquially, I'd say gale but the Beaufort wind scale puts 32 m/s (62 knots) as "violent storm", a more severe rating than "gale".

The site i checked, said 32 m/s = beaufort 12 = Thunder storm, but it did not sound right to me, because i would expected thunder in a thunder storm?
not a big deal :)

feel the power of the Orkan

What is the Orkan? What causes it?

I've been out in hurricanes here. I knew it was dangerous, but yes, it was beautiful.
