Liz-Marc have opinion about the lastest shipper war,
in the Buffy fandom .
Personally do I find that, that these shippers wars often coupled with character bashing, is so very immature. I would think that I have in common, with most of the sane adult population. I have had my moment of temporal fandom insanity. But most of the time I have been saved of making a fool of myself. By the knowledge that I have to work with the text for some time, when I write in English, so that casual reader don’t think, that I *am* a 12 year school child with a spelling problems. That laziness gives time to me, to reconsider what I have written. The speed which the internet gives one opportunity for publishing, can perhaps be a problem for some people, that it is too easy to publish ones more or less ingenious thoughts.
If one should see some something in the positive fandoms wars. I could be that it shows that the show is still alive for many fans, and there are still passions for it.

Good point. Part of the problem is for sure that a lot of people tend to type faster than they think. And I'm not excluding myself there... I've recently learned that it's a really good idea to leave an angry letter lying for an hour after writing, better yet, a day. And not just as far as fannish stuff is concerned. That tactic has served me well already.

btw, that kerfuffle? Is the scariest shit I've come across in a long time. I'm staying as far away from that as possible.

I appreciate the work you put into making yourself clear in English.

But yeah, sitting on a rant for a day is actually the best thing you can do. Usually I end up re-writing everything so I don't sound like a screaming harridan.

Thank you. When I look at the text, I have just written yesterday, I can see that there plenty of grammatical mistakes, which I did not see yesterday, very annoying.

By the way, I forgot say, to the introduction of your commentary, that I think that your commentary to the shipper war, was well thought and argued ( read… I pretty much agree with you)

I love the shipper wars, debate is great. When it crosses the line (and it unfortunately frequently does) is when people start to insult people over their preferences.

If someone likes het, fine. If someone wants slash, fine. If someone doesn't like Spike\Buffy\Xander, whoever - the answer is simple.

Don't read their stuff. All the petty and stupid agression is pathetic, especially if you find yourself lowering to their level.
