It is an ancient (1992) and famous discussion about MICROKERNEL VS MONOLITHIC SYSTEM. And Linux design background and good amount nostalgia for me with words like xt and at PC.
Interesting that the OS that Linux compete with now, is also an microkernel-designed systems Windows nt/2k/xp.
