Nothing wrong with that! Bring on the pics. I find them inspiring... like one day I want to take my camera off the 'auto' setting and try cool stuff, too.
I don't find that there are anything complicated, in going away from full auto. On the contrary I find it much easier, to not guess on, what the camera does in auto.
I can't remember, if yours camera are a dslr?, if it's I would get a cheap prime, they give opportunities for greater quality and much more depth of field control, and they are fun.
Thanks! The colors are not l00 % natural, as I tweaked them a little afterwards. Flowers can often gain a little "punch" in post processing without looking fake, imo.
