My hometown is a small town, its get a few lines in the Lonely Planet guide book. It have lost much of it's former industries from my childhood, gained a few new ones, but not really a place in growth.

When I was home in the Christmas I took walk from my old home and walked into the center and back, i would guess the trip would take me about 40 to 50 min. if I was without a camera.

Part of what is left of ships diesel engines manufacturing. I remember that smell in the air sometimes, when they were casting the big engines. Cleaned up and downsized, progress of a sort.

Two restaurants sort of and a hotel. The ferries brings still some tourist from Norway and Sweden, but it's fraction of what it was before EU rules stopped the tax free shopping on the ferries.

They're very stylish, but I think the effect is interesting in these unassuming motifs. That parking lot in the final one looks strangely pretty. My favorite is the first one though.
